WHAT ARE TERPENES AND WHY ARE THEY IMPORTANT?
You may have heard the word “terpenes” (a close relative of “terpenoids”) floating around conversations about THC, CBD, and aromatherapy.
There are many scientific ways to look at where terpenes come from and what they do, but in short, it’s this: terpenes are the organic compounds responsible for aroma and flavor in nature.
